superb hotel experience
first class welcomespacious roomamazing viewlong wait
i REALLY enjoyed this hotel. the welcome was first class and staff treated me with respect. nothing was too much trouble. the location is perfect right by the beautiful blue water with an amazing view. rooms are spacious, clean and air conditioned and had a good size balcony.
the service from the waiters could improve, to be truthful. they all seem nice people but appear to not be trained. drinks orders often took a long time to arrive. the entertainment was not great either

the buffet selections included lots of variety and the choices were fresh every day. delicious desserts were available. a good choice of wines, spirits, and cocktails completed the experience.

the two pools had plenty of sun loungers in different locations in and out of the sun. this was fantastic. the hotel is in an ideal position to get to comino and gozo for day trips. i found the location to be peaceful.

The hotel features free drinking water on each floor! I found this service very convenient. The quick boat connection provided transport to Comino Island in just 25 minutes. Public transportation was within a two-minute walk. This made exploring easy.
I had a room overlooking the surrounding area. There was a smell of sewage near the hotel and outside. I believe this came from a pumping station down the coast. It came and went with the wind.

The buffet offers a rich and varied selection of dishes. Evening entertainment is present to entertain guests. This includes younger ones. Cuisine options at the restaurants are amazing. I found them to be pleasant.

My room had a modern sea view. It was unexpectedly equipped with a private terrace whirlpool. The room was also super clean. Staff were friendly. I also found the bed to be comfortable.

The reception staff was very helpful at check in. I enjoyed the management drinks meeting and found it a nice touch. The local bus stop is very close offering easy transportation. The area around the hotel is quiet and scenic.
The poolside snack bar's food could be improved.

The hotel features an indoor pool and spa offering wellness treatments. Water fountains with well-filtered water are available on each floor, both inside and outside. A gym provides cardio equipment and weights.

faulty air conditioninginconsistent minibar
I encountered a few issues that dampened my stay. the air conditioning in my room barely functioned. This resulted in discomfort during the hotter parts of the day. i found the minibar was not restocked daily. It was inconvenient as i had to request refills constantly from housekeeping. this lack of attention to detail detracted from what could have been a more satisfying experience.

The outdoor pool had ample loungers. There was also a shaded area for those who prefer to avoid direct sun. I found the on-site restaurants convenient, each offering diverse menus. The live music was a welcome addition to the evenings.
The gym equipment was a bit dated and some machines needed maintenance.
